I LOVE my Kuerig coffee maker, but to save money on K-cups I run them through 2 times. I actually prefer the second cup more, because the first cup is a little strong for me. BUT...if it is run through a 3rd time, it is definately too weak. How do I tell how many times it has been run through? When resetting the maker to have it think it is a new K-cup, I turn it a half turn, so the K-cup will get a second piercing on the bottom of the cup. So, 2 holes on the bottom, means that it is time to throw it away.
